If you need some help with gift ideas for your favorite gardener, or maybe for yourself, here are a few we came up with:
Contemporary Rain Barrel Urn Holds 45 Gallons
Everyone wants to conserve water these days. This Rainwater Urn is a stylish, shapely alternative to traditional rain barrels. Made of UV-stable, scratch and chip resistant polyethylene, it has an appealing matte textured finish, quality spigot and 6-foot hose with shut-off valve. The top has a recessed basin for stowing watering accessories or displaying a potted plant.
A stylish way to collect free rainwater, conserve water and treat your plants.
This item is available at Gardeners Supply Company for $149.00
Spork

The great benefit of this tool is its ability to easily cut into hardened soil. It's unique carbon-steel head combines the functions of a spade and a fork--it has sharp teeth to penetrate soil, a large surface area for lifting and turning soil, and 1" gaps in the blade that riddle soil while also reducing friction and suction when digging.
The 9-3/3" x 6" blade is sized between a traditional digging spade and border spade, making it easy to wield. With the ash T-handle the total tool length is 46".
Forged in Holland, this high-quality tool is an excellent addition to any garden shed for working soil in the spring and fall, moving perennials, and edging borders.
The Spork is available at Lee Valley Tools for $59.50.
Crows Foot
This five-tine cultivator is shaped like your hand with its tines curved slightly inward. It is designed to scratch the soil shallowly, creating a dust mulch and uprooting weed seedlings in the process. An excellent choice when tilling among plants whose feeder roots are close to the soil surface. Each tine tapers slightly toward the tip and has a rectangular cross section. Comes in two sizes: larger version is about 10 inches long and 5 inches wide. Smaller version is 8 inches long and 3 inches wide. A great tool for working fertilizers and amendments into the top inch or so of soil.
Available at Red Pig Tools, starting at $30.00
Eucalyptus 3-Tier Plant Stand
The Eucalyptus 3-Tier Plant Stand shows off a multitude of plants in any outdoor or indoor space. Use the patio plant stand's three slatted shelves to display favorite blooms, or create a convenient kitchen garden for potted herbs or vegetables. This solid eucalyptus 3-tier plant stand is treated with penetrating oil to repel water and protect the finish. The oil finish can be replenished annually, or you can let the stand weather naturally to a silvery gray color. The Eucalyptus 3-Tier Plant Stand can also be used indoors to display your favorite houseplants. The stand is 35" wide x 23" deep and 20" high. Some assembly is required.
This stand is available at Improvements for $69.99
